BCCI will have to get the final match of IPL 2021 done by October 10, ICC created pressure- report

New Delhi, Jnn. IPL 2021 Part Two will be held in the UAE, but the Board of Control for Cricket in India is still skeptical about the date of its event. The board is busy finalizing the praise for the second part of the IPL, but now a bad news has come out for the board. On Monday, there were reports that BCCI may organize the final match of this season on October 15 to reduce the number of double-header matches. Now according to the news of Inside Sport, the board will have to finish its final match by October 10 because any date beyond that is kept for the final match, it will not be a waste to the ICC.

The BCCI announced last month that the remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021 will be held in the UAE in the September-October window, while India will tell the ICC by the end of June that it will be able to organize the T20 World Cup 2021. Or not. The BCCI is also working overtime to ensure that the window for the remaining 31 matches of IPL season 14 is extended as much as possible. The board has met ICC officials in the UAE and has spoken to several cricket boards in the past 10 days, but an ICC source told Inside Sport that it is unlikely that the IPL Part Two will be held. The window for this should be extended beyond October 10.

An ICC source told Inside Sport that the T20 World Cup 2021 can start from October 18, so how is it possible that IPL 2021 will be organized till October 15. The ICC would never allow such a conflict. Apart from this, why will the teams participating in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 allow their players to remain in the IPL till October 15. We think that, BCCI will not take the IPL 2021 event beyond October 10.
